The Delhi High Court has allowed a petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of FIR No. 0182/2018 registered at Police Station: Preet Vihar, East Delhi under Sections 354/506/509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 along with all other proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of a settlement.
 
The High Court held thus:

Accordingly, the petition is allowed. FIR No. 0182/2018 registered at Police Station: Preet Vihar, East Delhi under Sections 354/506/509 of the IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom against the petitioner are quashed, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall assist the Traffic Police at a traffic signal where he may be deputed by the DCP Traffic, East District, for a period of 30 days. He shall report to the DCP Traffic for rendering the assistance at a traffic signal assigned to him. At the end of the aforesaid period of 30 days, the DCP Traffic shall issue a certificate to the petitioner, which the petitioner shall thereafter file before this Court within a period of two months from today. If such a certificate is not filed, the Registry shall place this matter before this Court for further directions.
