Insaaf99 endeavours to facilitate a convenient and satisfactory experience for Users accessing the Platform and connecting with independent legal professionals through the Site and Applications. The Platform is intended to facilitate access to legal consultations and other professional services provided by independent lawyers at the applicable fees displayed or communicated to Users.

However, circumstances may arise in which a User may wish to cancel a booking or seek a refund. The following Refund and Cancellation Policy shall apply to transactions made through the Platform.

1. Cancellation by Users

Where a User has made a payment for availing a consultation or other service facilitated through the Platform but subsequently decides not to avail the same, the User may request cancellation within 24 hours of making the payment or before the commencement of the relevant service, whichever is earlier.
Once the relevant consultation or service has commenced, the booking or order shall not ordinarily be eligible for cancellation. In such cases, the User may seek a refund only in accordance with the circumstances expressly specified under this Refund Policy.

2. Circumstances in Which a Refund May Be Considered

A User may request a refund in the following circumstances:

a. Money-Back Guarantee:

Where the relevant service is expressly covered by a money-back guarantee scheme published on the Site or Applications or communicated to the User in writing through any electronic medium, and the User satisfies all the terms and conditions applicable to such scheme, the User may be eligible for a refund in accordance with the applicable terms.

b. Delay in Facilitating the Service:

Where there is a material delay in facilitating the relevant service beyond the time frame specifically communicated to the User, and such delay is attributable solely to circumstances for which Insaaf99 is directly responsible, the User may submit a request for a refund for consideration in accordance with this Policy.

3. Procedure for Requesting a Refund

User may write to contact@insaaf99.com. The refund request should, wherever applicable, include the User's Order ID or transaction reference, registered contact details, date of payment, and the reason for seeking cancellation or refund. Upon receipt of a refund request, Insaaf99 shall review the request in accordance with the applicable terms of this Policy and the circumstances of the relevant transaction. Insaaf99 reserves the right to make the final determination regarding the eligibility and amount of any refund, subject to applicable law.

4. Extent and Processing of Refund

Where a refund is approved, only the amount actually paid through the Platform for the relevant service may be considered for refund. Any Government fees, statutory charges, taxes, or other amounts collected or payable to third parties shall not be refundable by Insaaf99, except where otherwise required under applicable law.

The maximum refund amount claimable from Insaaf99 shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the User to Insaaf99 through the Platform for the relevant service.

No refund shall be claimed from Insaaf99 in respect of any amount paid directly by a User to an independent lawyer. Any dispute concerning an amount paid directly to an independent lawyer shall be a matter between the User and the concerned independent lawyer.

An amount equivalent to 18% GST of the approved refund amount may be deducted towards online payment processing, transaction charges, and other applicable processing costs, where applicable and legally permissible.

An approved refund shall ordinarily be processed to the same bank account, credit card, debit card, or other payment method used by the User for making the original payment. Subject to the processing timelines of banks, payment gateways, card networks, and other financial institutions, Insaaf99 shall endeavour to process the approved refund within a maximum period of 15 (fifteen) working days from the date of approval of the refund.

5. No Other Refunds

Except in the circumstances expressly specified in this Refund and Cancellation Policy, or where otherwise required under applicable law, no refund shall ordinarily be payable by Insaaf99.

In exceptional circumstances, Insaaf99 may, at its discretion, review a User's concern and endeavour to arrive at a fair and reasonable resolution based on the facts and circumstances of the particular case. Any such resolution shall not constitute a precedent or create a general entitlement to a refund.

6. Independent Legal Professionals

Insaaf99 is a technology-enabled intermediary platform that facilitates connections between Users and independent lawyers. Any legal consultation, advice, opinion, or other professional legal service is provided solely by the concerned independent lawyer in the lawyer's independent professional capacity.

Insaaf99 does not itself practice law or provide legal advice. Accordingly, the refund provisions contained in this Policy relate only to payments and services facilitated through the Platform and shall not be construed as an assumption of responsibility by Insaaf99 for the professional advice, opinion, conduct, representation, or outcome of any independent lawyer.

7. Customer Support

Users may approach the Insaaf99 customer care service center for assistance relating to payments, bookings, cancellations, refunds, technical difficulties, account-related issues, or other Platform-related concerns.

Users are requested to provide sufficient details of the relevant transaction or concern, including the Order ID or transaction reference, registered contact details, date of payment, and a brief description of the issue, wherever applicable.

Insaaf99 shall endeavour to review and respond to customer support requests within a reasonable period. The time required for resolution may vary depending upon the nature of the request and whether information or action is required from an independent lawyer, payment gateway, bank, or other third-party service provider.
